Pro Tips
Start your round with a down hill dogleg right Par 4 that is severely sloped from left to right. Aiming point is at the Tree left of the fairway (150 yards from the green), and let the slope do the rest. The putting green slopes back to front. *Player Note: Don’t go long on your approach shot as this will leave a very difficult up and down.

Pro Tips
Short Par 4 that is a slight dog leg left. Longer hitters can hit an iron or hybrid off of the tee to avoid going through the fairway on the right. Fairway bunker is approximately 150 yards from the green. The putting green is surrounded by bunkers on the left, right, and short, so be sure to hit a solid approach shot. The green slopes from back to front. *Player Note: Putting green has a few subtle ridges- read the putt from both sides of the hole to be on the correct side of the ridge.

Pro Tips
Short Par 4 that is straight away. Be careful as out of bounds runs along the entire left side of the hole and sneaks into play over the green. Fairway bunker on the right will give you approximately 160 yards into the green that is surrounded by bunkers short right and left, as well as long right. The green slopes back to front, and gets very narrow towards the back of the putting green. *Player Note: Middle of the green on approach shots to back pin placements is best.

Pro Tips
Hardest ranking handicap hole on the course for the men. Par 4 that plays a little down hill off of the tee towards a layup area short of the pond. The pond runs along the entire left side of the green. Any Shots on the left side of the green with too much speed will run off into the pond. The putting green slopes from back to front, and is guarded by a greenside bunker on the right. *Player Note: Aim for the trees/bush lines through the fairway as your target point off of the tee.

Par 3 over a pond- the hole will play approximately 140 yards from our men’s tee and 110 yards from our ladies tee. The putting green is guarded by two bunkers- short left and right of the putting green. Putting Green runs back to front and left to right. *Player Note: there is more room over the short left greenside bunker than you think. Middle of the green is always a great spot to putt from on this hole for any pin position.

Pro Tips
First Par 5 on the golf course, and the hardest ranking handicap hole for the ladies. Tricky tee shot with a large fairway bunker on the left and grass mounds on the right. Longer hitters will be able to carry over the large bunker on the right, but any shots pulled to the left run the risk of the entering the creek that runs along the tree line. The second shot is a risk-reward lay up or go for the green shot with a creek that runs 20 yards short of the green. The Putting Green is guarded by a bunker short right and left, and is one of our larger greens on the course that runs from back to front. *Player Note: shots into the green will play a club to club and a half more up the hill.

Pro Tips
Tough Par 4 that is a slight dogleg right. There is a creek that runs 10 yards short of the putting green. The putting green is undulating with a false front edge, but most of the green flows back to front, and is a very tough green to read. *Player Note: Longer hitters can get into trouble if their tee shot goes too far left- they will be blocked out by the trees for the approach shot. Put your approach shot in the Middle of the green for any hole location.

Pro Tips
Tough Par 5 that is straight back up the hill. The putting green is guarded by bunkers short right and short left, and are well below the putting green surface. Long of this green is also no good as the putting green is severely fast from back to front. There is also a big ridge that runs through the back portion of the green. *Player Note: the approach shots will play two-three clubs more up the hill, and do not go over the green as it will leave a very difficult/fast chip back onto the putting green.

One of the most scenic tee shots on the property- views of downtown Towson, MD in the distance, and the Loch Raven Reservoir make this a picturesque tee shot. Slight dogleg right Par 4 with a creek running through the fairway, and fairway bunkers on the left and right side. The creek is approximately 100 yards from the green. Bunkers guard the green long and right side of the green. Putting Green runs from back to front. *Player Note: Longer hitters can carry over the creek without any issues, but be careful of which direction the wind is blowing.

Approach shots will play half a club down the hill to a green protected by bunkers short right, left, and behind the green. Putting Green is relatively flat and most putts will be straight, so don’t over-read this green. *Player Note: Longer hitters should aim up the right side and the right rough opens up to leave a wide open shot to the green. Putting Green is relatively flat and most putts will be straight, so don’t over-read this green.

Pro Tips
Slight dogleg right Par 5 with a pond protecting the left side of the fairway. Any second shots need to stay on the left side of the fairway as shots to the right will be blocked out by a tree for their next shot. The green is guarded by bunkers short right, left, and on the right side. The putting green is fairly long from front to back with ridges throughout. *Player Note: Second shots are the key to the success on this hole- anything right of the fairway will leave a player scrambling to make par or bogey. Also, the 12th is the start of the toughest holes stretch through Hole #15 known to our members as “The Eagle’s Talon.”

Pro Tips
The Par 4 thirteenth hole is our signature double green (connected with Hole #16). This is one of the most difficult holes on the course. The Par 4 tee shot requires a player to hit a 240 yard shot (from the men’s tee) & 155 yard shot (from the ladies tee) down the hill towards a pond. The second shot requires a solid hit over a large pond. The start of the pond is approximately 160 yards from the green. There are a few bunkers that protect the green on the left and right side, but players are able to play a shot that runs up to the green without any issues. The putting green is quick from back to front and left to right. *Player Note: The safe play off of the men’s tee is to hit a 220 yard club. Stay on the correct tier of this putting green. Anything long and on the top tier (Hole #16 putting green) will leave an impossible two putt no matter where the pin is located.

Very difficult Par 5 with a demanding tee shot. Tee Shots to the left will be Out of Bonds & to the right will be in the pond. There is a creek that runs through the fairway approximately 320 yards off of the men’s tee & approximately 250 yards off of the ladies tee. Avoid the huge tree in the middle of the fairway on your second/third shot, but also know there are bunkers guarding the approach shot on the left and right side of the fairway approximately 100 yards from the green. The putting green is protected short left and right by bunkers. *Player Note: Longer hitters can hit two mid-irons to leave themselves with a wedge for their third. This hole is known to blow up great rounds with one bad tee shot.

One of our signature holes that is a Par 4 straight back up the hill. There is a creek that runs along the left side of the fairway, as well as a bunker that guards the left side. Approach shots play straight up the hill to a guarded green with a bunker well below the surface short right. The putting green is severely quick from back to front. *Player Note: the approach shot will play one-two clubs more up the hill, and like Hole #9- do not go over the green as it will leave a very difficult/fast chip back onto the putting green.
